The GPBD service board is a core component of the Huawei SmartAX MA5680T/MA5683T/MA5608T series OLT equipment, primarily used for the access and processing of GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) services.
This board provides 8 GPON ports. Each port supports bidirectional optical signal transmission over a single fiber and can be expanded via an optical splitter to deliver up to 64 optical signal branches from one PON port, thereby enabling access for up to 512 ONU (Optical Network Unit) terminals. It is compatible with Class B+, Class C+, and Class C++ optical modules and features temperature monitoring and automatic high-temperature shutdown functions to ensure operational stability.
