The board is equipped with 16 ports, each supporting symmetric rates of 10Gbps downstream and 10Gbps upstream. It maintains backward compatibility with traditional GPON ONUs, supporting rates of 2.5Gbps downstream and 1.25Gbps upstream. With a typical power consumption of approximately 60W, it must be installed in compatible chassis such as the MA5800-X15 or X7, relying on their power supply and modules. Its high-density design allows a single chassis to support up to 256 10G PON interfaces, significantly boosting access capacity, making it suitable for high-bandwidth scenarios like enterprise headquarters and data centers.
